The Simply Conserve Indoor Window Insulation Kit includes plastic shrink film and two-way tape to cover average size windows. The kit helps to seal windows airtight and eliminates condensation, cold drafts, and heat loss. Tape securely holds the plastic film in place. A hair dryer shrinks the window insulator film to form smooth, tight, and transparent inside storm windows.

The Deluxe Window Insulation Kit covers up to five 36-inch by 60-inch windows.

Key Product Features:

    • One clear, plastic sheet
    • Window film length: 210-inches
    • Window film height: 62-inches
    • Double-sided tape length: 90-feet

     Installation Instructions:

    1. Do not apply tape to wallboard, plaster, veneer paneling, or mahogany molding.
    2. If the surface of the molding is below 40°F (5°C), heat with a hair dryer prior to applying tape.
    3. Clean and dry the window frame thoroughly. Tape will not stick if this step is skipped.
    4. Apply tape, liner still intact, to the outside edge or to the face of the window.
    5. Peel off liner to expose adhesive.
    6. Unfold the film and cut to size, allowing at least 2-inches (5 cm) of extra film on all four sides. The film may be removed and repositioned, if necessary.
    7. Press the film securely to tape.
    8. Shrink the film with a handheld hair dryer set at its highest heat setting. Hold the dryer about 1/4-inch (6 mm) away from the film surface, starting at one corner and moving slowly back and forth across the entire film surface until all wrinkles and creases disappear. Avoid touching film with dryer.
    9. Trim excess film with scissors or a protected razor blade.
    10. Clean film with a damp soft cloth when required.

    For Easy Removal:

    • Heat tape with a hair dryer and slowly peel it off.
